Kayla Beal USA Gymnast

Welcome to the official website of Kayla Beal!

Kayla is 15 years old as of 2017 and is currently a Level 10 gymnast trained by Tatyana Shadenko and Ryan Roberts at World Olympic Gymnastics Academy (WOGA) in Frisco, TX.

Kayla has been in the sport of gymnastics since she was two years old. She started in a recreational class doing basic rolls, cartwheels and more. By the time she was four years old, she had far outgrown the recreational program and moved onto the compulsory program at Danik Gymnastics in Meridian, ID. training daily so she could perform gymnastics competitively.

Kayla has a God given natural talent for the sport of gymnastics. After back to back state championships in 2009 and 2010, Kayla experienced her first loss of a coach. Her coach was released from the gymnastics program before the start of the 2011 season where Kayla was skipping level 6 and jumping to level 7. Kayla had a very hard time adjusting to the loss of her favorite coach and by the end of the level 8 season in 2012, Kayla had almost given up on the sport mentally. The replacement coaches were leaving at that point and Viktor Danilovitch stepped up and took over Kayla's training. With Viktor leading the way in her daily training, Kayla saw a positive resurgence in her attitude, her work ethic, daily training schedule and overall performance during practice and competitions.

As the 2014 season was coming, Kayla picked up the pace and began working with a vengeance. She started training six hours per week with Viktor and 23 hours per week with the rest of the team gymnasts. This dedication brought Kayla to become the Level 9 Idaho State Champion and the runner up by only a tenth of a point at the Region 2 Championships in 2014. Kayla was the Idaho State Champion again in 2015 and placed 8th at Western Nationals. At this point Kayla was invited by Tatyana Shadenko to train at WOGA in Frisco, Texas after she trialed for a week with the WOGA team in 2014. After 15 months of planning by her parents; Kayla and family moved to Frisco and Kayla started her training as a Level 10 in June of 2015. At this point Kayla is training with some of the best gymnasts in the country and is being trained by some of the best coaches in the world for 36 hours per week - minimum.
