Conditioning requires not only running, stretching, sit-ups, push-ups, pull-ups and every other excercise you can think of. It also includes repetitious drills so that I can perfect the basic elements like pointed toes, as well as the specific body positioning and straight legs required for entry level gymnastics. Not only must I know the basics and perfect them, I must also continue to perfect the skills I have now such as flips and twists...... in addition, I must work daily in training to learn more difficult skills.....over and over and over and over and over....... then I get to do them over again....and over again.
